Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for ‘Controller Arrangement of an Electrical Power Transfer System of a Wind Turbine’ Filed by Vestas Wind Systems

MUMBAI, India, Feb. 16 — Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (3795/DEL/2011 A) filed by Vestas Wind Systems A/S, Denmark on Dec. 23, 2011 for a ‘controller arrangement of an electrical power transfer system of a wind turbine.’

The application for the patent – which was invented by Lampong Opina Gil Jr., Swee Yee Fonn, Anshuman Tripathi, Tze Yang Liaw and Amit Kumar Gupta – was published on Jan. 18 under issue no. 03/2013. According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: “A controller arrangement of an electrical power transfer system of a wind turbine is described. The wind turbine has an electrical generator and is connected to an electrical power grid, wherein the power transfer system is arranged to transfer electrical power from the generator to the grid.
